Marriage, as with all other relationships, is not always a bed of roses. While marriages may start off well in the beginning, many couples may end up having conflicts and disputes as obstacles will inevitably come knocking at our doors whether we like it or not. Some couples face challenges early on in the relationship while other couples can't seem to resolve deep-seated problems even after entering into the formal union for many years. Some couples who are trying to recover from infidelity or extra marital affairs find the journey too painful to walk.
There is still hope to build and restore your marriage. Through marriage counselling and relationship therapy (or also known as couple counselling), not only will you and your partner be able to understand each other’s needs and concerns in a safe environment, but both of you will also be able to acquire effective communication skills and take the appropriate steps towards navigating through this unpredictable but fulfilling journey together.
At The Relationship Room, we offer relationship and marriage counselling (couple counselling) and relationship coaching services to couples who are dealing with challenges. We specialise in the following:
Depending on the complexity of the issue, we take on a short-term approach that will take between five and 20 sessions. At the first session, our counsellor will meet both of you to understand the challenge both of you are facing and also establish a goal for the therapy. In the second session, our counsellor will meet both of you individually and subsequently, the therapy will require both of you to be in the session together.
If you are experiencing endless communication breakdowns, deep-seated misunderstandings, and growing resentment for your partner, or if you just need someone to talk to, we urge you to contact us to find out how we can. We promise not only to journey together with you and your loved ones through the various challenges, but we will also help you heal from your pain at every step of your journey as we search for a solution that will best suit your experiences and empower you to build an everlasting relationship with your partner.
